Shunken Sentimental

Days ago, I came across this Japanese Girl Band known as Scandal on TV. And honestly, their music video on Shunken Sentimental is awesome! They kinda remind me of K-on for some reason. But, two thumbs up! They are really cool showing off their band skills.

Anyway, I got my English Research Essay assignment today! It is extremely satisfying! Hard work does really pay off. I mean, I have printed 4 times for this essay and I have gone back and forth consulting with my English teacher. Thank God so much for this!

Next, I am in the middle of watching youtube videos on nail tutorial arts. I'm planning to paint my nails again. As the vintage floral nails are chipping out everyday, I should quickly replace them with something else if I could find myself the time. I mean, it is almost final exam. Moreover, I, sometimes, feel distracted every time I have a new nail coats. I would get paranoid or instead of studying I would observe my nails. Such a waste of time right. Speaking of wasting time, I did the most ridiculous thing ever while preparing myself for Math Mock the other day. I was in a lot of stress, and everything around me seems very interesting at the time, especially the torchlight Denny gave me recently.

I took the torchlight and started directing it to my eyes to dilate my pupils. I spent 5 solid minutes watching my pupils dilate in front of the mirror with the torchlight.

Okay, back to nail polish topic, I found this cute youtube channel, Cutepolish

I think I'm going to paint my nails with a leopard print.. I have been craving it since yesterday. But this just have to wait until I have finished my semester exam.

This brings me to a closing, I have to go now and hit the books. Bye..

Chasing Liberty

I've just finished watching Chasing Liberty. Vivi downloaded it on torrent.Oh yeah, today is the best day ever. Finally, my parents replaced our home printer with a new one! Awesome! I have been waiting for this for so long! You have no idea how happy I am. Moreover, another happy thing today is that my piano is finally tuned! After years and years of no tuning, this is the day!

Chasing Liberty depicts a story about a president's daughter, Anna Foster, feeling so imprisoned with the presence of complete security in her surrounding. All eyes were on her and she could do nothing freely without any supervision. At one point when she was given the chance from her dad to attend a Love Parade in Berlin, she made her move escaping from the guards when she knew that her dad had lied to her for providing a whole lot of security guards instead of promising on only with two guards. The First daughter then came upon a secret agent who accompanied her wherever she went in order to protect her. This was presumed as the president's "controlled freedom". Along the way, Anna did not know that she was with a secret agent the whole time until one time that all truths were revealed. Bla bla bla.. Man, like seriously, I'm really lazy writing the whole synopsis.

So, my point of view of this movie! I feel frustrated watching Anna's spoiled behaviors. I get it why she was really desperate of freedom, but she was too spoiled! I could ticked off any second now. But overall, it was a good movie. It was really entertaining. Pretty sweet-romantic-ish.

The Other Side of Down

My all-time favorite album, The Other Side of Down by David Archuleta. I can never be bored listening to this album. There are 12 songs inside this album and I love every one of them. They all sound so perfect. I have this on my phone, but I'm too lazy to connect my blackberry to my laptop, that's why I downloaded it again. Such a tedious process huh.. LOL. Don't get me wrong, I have this album years ago.. Just downloading and blogging this for keepsake in the future if I have to download it again.

Dredd

So I just came back home from my day out with my family from EX. We watched a movie, ate something, window-shopping and went straight back home. Just a usual stroll in the mall.

Dredd is an action/thriller movie about what America would be like in the future with exposition of radiation. Like Hunger Games, America in Dredd was divided into sectors. There were a lot of cool gadgets, and high-technology in this movie. Basically, these sectors were in a lot of chaos. Like for instance, the main sector portrayed in this movie was Sector 9, Mega City One, where crime rates and unemployment rates peaked the highest. Dredd, on the other hand, was one of the judges that held the power of jury, judge and instant executioner. His job was to eliminate the most devious clan known as the Ma-ma Clan that controlled the whole building called Peach Trees. This clan had total control of the city and obviously was feared. Not to mention that this clan produced drugs called the "Slo-Mo" in which users may experienced a slower speed of reality's normal speed. Dredd was assigned with a rookie, Cassandra Anderson, a psychic mutant, to bring judgement towards the evil clan.

Frankly, I was in a total adrenaline rush throughout the movie. There were a lot of brutal scenes, especially there were a lot of these scenes shot at slow motion. You could observe how a bullet went straight through a victim's face or body, with all the rippling effects. But I should say that there were some parts of the scenes that were very catchy like for instance, the part when the drug users were in a high state, the imagination of this high state were very colorful and glimmering.

watch the trailer :)

Anyway, I heard this cool song while waiting for the movie at XXI, called Patience by Take That. So catchy..

Just have a little, patience

I'm still hurting from a love i lost,
I'm feeling your frustration,
Then maybe all the pain will stop,
Just hold me close inside your arms tonight,
don't be to hard on my emotions

(Chorus)
Cause i, need time,
My heart is numb has no feeling,
So while im still healing,
Just try and have a little patience,

I really wanna start over again,
I know u wanna be my salvation,
The one that i can always depend,

I'll try to be strong, believe me,
I'm trying to move on,
It's complicated but understand me,

Cause I need time,
My heart is numb has no feeling,
So while im still healing,
Just try and have a little patience,

Yeah, have a little patience, Yeah

Cause this scar runs so deep,
Its been hard,
But i have to believe me,

Have a little patience,
Have a little patience,

Cause i, i just need time,
My heart is numb has no feeling,
So while im still healing,
just try, and have a little patience,

Have a little patience,
My heart is numb has no feeling,
So while i'm still healing
just try and have a little... Patience

After the movie, we went to eat at Mie Laiker, then went to Aksara. Bought these books there. Aksara had this Halloween Theme. There were cobwebs everywhere. Pretty cool.

Grimm's and Andersen's Fairy Tales

Seven Nation Army

I have been sick lately. I caught a terrible flu. And I have to drink 5 tablets at a time which make me sleepy all day. Honestly, all I do is just sleep. And for the past 3 days this week, I rode a taxi home which was unusual for me because I always take a bus home. But due to shakey ankles and dizzy feeling, I preferred the taxi.

Anyway, today is a holiday because of the Idul Adha event. Woke up late! Sleep deprivation recharged! What am I saying, I do not have sleep deprivation. In fact I have sleep surplus.

In just a matter of weeks, I'm going to be faced with my last semester examination. I'm obviously worried by this. However, I haven't even started studying. I should be ready for preparation right this moment! Unfortunately, procrastination will is stronger than studying will.

By the bye, I am in love with this song called Seven Nation Army by the band, The White Stripes. I heard it from a tv advertisement and started browsing for the lyrics. Try listening to it. I'm obsessed with the guitar playing that sounds more like a bass.

Bronze Radio Return

Like finally, I have found the torrent to Bronze Radio Return's 2011 album entitled Shake Shake Shake. I would have never thought that I would have fallen for an Indie/rock music like this. But all I can say is that their songs are good. Despite the fact that I have only listened to one of their songs from this album called Everything Moves.

Stumble in, fight the spin
If you don’t you’re falling on your face again
Tumble down, roll around
You know that everything is moving now

Lately I, can’t decide, run or hide
Oh and when I do, I’m sure I’ll end up moving too
Suit and tie, sell or buy, laugh or cry
What’s a guy to do, when nothing's standing still for you
So many angles, so many lines
So many ways to see the sunrise

Everything moves, everything pulses
Everything lies in the eyes of you
Everything moves, everything pulses
Everything lies in the eyes of you
Everything lies in the eyes of you
In the eyes of you, in the eyes of you

Ramble on, chug along
And if the beat stops thumping man then something’s wrong
Ignore it son, it's just a song
But I can see your white-knuckled hand from holding on
So lately I, wonder why, we rely, on the sure thing
It's too damn comforting
To stay alive, overdrive, ‘til we find, something new
To keep the pulse alive in you

So many angles, so many lines
So many ways to see the sunrise

Chorus

Even though I don’t know quite what to do
The time will show what we know is hardly ever true
I’d rather have then never had the spinning room,
The feeling that I moved
No more standing still at your will but you can try until you see the motion's moving you

Chorus

  1. Down There
  2. Wonder No More
  3. Shake, shake, shake
  4. Warm Day, Cold War
  5. Blurry-Eyed Worries
  6. Rough Town
  7. Curse The Ground (Broken Ocean Intro)
  8. Broken Ocean
  9. Everything Moves
  10. What Good
  11. Sell It To You

Looper

As I have mentioned in my previous post, I am going to blog about my last lab day today! As usual, we have Chemistry lab first which is followed by Physics Lab. What's different about today's last lab is that our Physics Lab was conducted by Mr Arnold, the new physics teacher.

After doing our Chemistry practicals, we still got half an hour more before entering Physics Lab. We ate our breakfast downstairs. I think I'm going to miss the shop's gorengan. Especially the bala-bala. They taste wonderful.

eating2..
Subsequently, there are still some more time to kill, so we went upstairs again to take pictures with our chemistry teacher, Stephen Fletcher. Alas, Delvin was too busy to join us, so we did the photos without him.

Nicho, Denny, Citra, Felix, Mr Stephen Fletcher, me, Sharon
with Miss Fitri. She's the lab assistant

Regrettably, we didn't take photos in the physics lab because we were too busy doing two practicals at once. Moreover, we were about to hang out after lab session, so we were in a rush.

Later on, Citra, Nicho, Felix and I together headed to Plaza Indonesia and EX. We were not in the same car though. There was heavy traffic on the way to the mall. Traffic is such a major problem in Jakarta. It should be overcome as soon as possible.

Upon arriving PI/EX, we decided to eat lunch at Fat Burger. Chatted there too. Apparently, there was this cool jukebox inside the fastfood restaurant. I should have taken a photo of it.

After lunch, the four of us started to stroll around the mall again while waiting for Fenny to arrive. Then we took these photos at an apple store at EX. Felix even set our photo as the wallpaper desktop.. -_-

We proceeded to J.CO for a yoghurt and more chit-chats.

Moving on, Bakerzin here we come! We were actually a bit confused on which shop we should stop by next. We were thinking of stopping by Lamoda but then we have all decided to just come by to Bakerzin.

At about 4, Fenny came after submitting her research essay to Uniprep. It was time for Citra, Nicho and Felix to leave for PIK too. They had another outing which they had to attend. So we bid goodbye, and I started going around the mall with Fenny. But first, we bought movie tickets. It has been quite a while since I watch movies at the cinemas. We bought movie tickets to watch Looper at 5 in the evening.

In order to kill time, we went to pancious, Fenny was craving for waffles, so there we went. We talked there too :)

Fenny covering herself

Ice Green Apple Tea, really refreshing! *must-try

Fenny's waffles
We talked for quite some time. Thank you Fenny for the drink :)

At 5, we went back to the theater for Looper.. Looper sounds so cute. Doesn't sound that intimidating at all perhaps.

The movie for today would be Loopers, starring Joseph-Gordon Levitt, Bruce Willis and Emily Blunt. A story about a futuristic city with the presence of time machine and the power of telekinesis that connects the past and the future of everybody. Basically, 'loopers' is a term used a lot in the film which means a person who is in charge of killing future people sent by the time machine at a specific time. Obviously, loopers were quite the trendy job in the film. They were rich because after killing the "loop" (the person delivered by the time machine), they would get silver bars and golden bars which were the currency in this movie. Apparently, loopers were bad people and in 30 years time, there was the so-called Rainmaker who had taken control of the 5 (or maybe 6, I forgot) major parts of the world to wipe out these loopers. A guy named Joe decided to demolish the Rainmaker when it was his turn to be killed by the looper who turned out to be himself from the past. Not to mention during the process of him being taken as captive, his beloved wife was shot dead. To seek vengeance, he decided to track down young Rainmaker and kill him before he had control over the world. To make a long story short, past Joe decided to sacrifice himself in order to save young Rainmaker from having to have an evil future.

You might want to check out the thriller-action movie yourself to see more details in the film. Honestly, Fenny and I had some shocked moments. It's a good thing, we have covered ourselves with a blanket.

watch the trailer

ps: I feel Joseph-Gordon Levitt looked a bit different than he usually looks, which bothers me a lot

After the movie, we bought some bubble teas before crossing for Grand Indonesia. Oh yeah we met Diana too at EX. What a coincidence. At GI, we strolled around, window-shopping @ Forever 21, then we went to this cute Japanese shop called "Scoop" . It is incredibly adorable. You have got to visit it.

All in all, awesome day and no more waking up early to Subud for lab session. Yippee

A Violent Flame

Yo, people! It's Thursday, my ultimate favorite day of the week! As you can see, tomorrow is my last day of going to Subud for my laboratory session! I'm so going to miss going there, NOT! Nah, just kidding, I'll surely miss it someday, somehow.

Anyway, the mojo of hitting the books is gone now, so I went youtube-ing instead. I've watched Kids React to Dude Perfect which was totally cool. Dude Perfect is basically a group of 5 guys making videos of them shooting basketball from a very long distance which went perfectly through the hoop.

While I was watching Dude Perfect's videos, I came across this amazing song, Begging You Alive by Courrier. Love it! That's why, I immediately downloaded the whole album on torrentz. I have given the torrent link download down below.

Oh, the question sounds
Echoes from an empty crown
All this time my light was out
But you're too bright to be concealed

Oh, my wooden bones
Wrapped in this house of stone
The hands of change were not my own
But I'll force them just the same

And you can't remain
So you fight and you fight and you fight to change
All the hurt and pain,
When you lose and you lose and you lose in vain
And all along I'm begging you alive

Oh, my ornament
Hanging around my neck
Worn so I don't forget
That one day we'll be the same

And you can't remain
So you fight and you fight and you fight to change
All the hurt and pain,
When you lose and you lose and you lose in vain
And all along I'm begging you,
All along I'm begging you.
All along I'm begging you
Alive.

It Takes Blood, Sweat, Tears, Innovation

At long last, I have submitted my English Research Essay. It's as if a heavy burden has been lifted off. No more staying up late to do essays! I can breathe now and even focus on my other subjects.

Today, same old same old, went to school up till 4 o'clock. What's different today was that there was a representative straight from the Faculty of Engineering from UNSW, Brady Hall. He gave us a presentation introducing us about engineering. It was overall pretty cool demo. He even brought a dog robot with him. But unfortunately, none of us could touch it. LOL.

After reaching home, I watched Friends. I've finished Season 8 today! 2 more seasons to go! HAHA.

I opened Facebook, and Derrick, sent me this image link of Disney's Maleficent! I am truly excited for this movie to be released on theaters during March 2014!

What's so special about this movie is that the story of Sleeping Beauty is told from the point of view of Maleficent. This would definitely thrill watchers! Because most of us would have no idea what Maleficent's background is. Moreover, Angelina Jolie played as Maleficent!

Lastly, I have gotten some revision books to prepare myself for the upcoming examinations! I am really hoping that I can excel in my studies. Amen.

Favicon

Just edited this sketchy blog! If you pay close attention, I have changed my favicon to a pudding picture. Really cute. You can make your own favicon by going to this website--> Favicon

I didn't make my own because I would need a long time to complete one favicon.

Anyway, I have submitted my draft to my English lecturer. Apparently, my second paragraph was more of a discussion essay paragraph instead of an argumentative essay paragraph. So I have to edit that specific paragraph once more. And, Thank God, I have written 982 words after editing. Obviously, I have passed my minimum word boundary.  phew.

Give the Love Around

Finally, I have completed my RESEARCH ESSAY and it's ready for submission! Thank you Jesus! And, good news, I've reached the minimum number of words acquired (950) plus I don't exceed the maximum number of words (1200) ! 1015 baby! Just right in the middle. So relieving!

Anyhow, I keep on listening to The Script songs again. Another song that began to attach in my mind is Give the Love Around. Dulcet indeed. Another term that describes how melodious the song is.

To your brother, to your sister, to your misses, to your mister.
To your friends, to your foes, give the love around and back around it goes.

It all comes from the top and it spreads right round
Treat a man wrong he's gonna pass it on down
To the next in line, who's probably his wife bringing up his kids
Now watching mamma cry
And they pick it up, cause they learn everything
Life has a funny way of going in a ring,
End up growing up in trouble with the law
Standing in the cuffs that the father once wore
Now it seems that every brand new generation
Have all been growing up with cracks in the foundation
Their trying to fill the holes of a whole damn nation
That's lost it's trust (that's lost it's trust)
We gotta change before the train leaves the station and realize the
Revolution in a revelation it takes blood, sweat, tears, innovation It
Starts with us, it starts with us.

(Chorus)
Yeah, stuffs like, give the love to your brother,
Give the love to your sister,
Give the love to your misses,
Love to your mister
Give the love to your friends,
Love to your foes,
Give the love around and back around it goes (X2)
Round it goes, round it goes, round it goes goes goes
Give the love around and back around it goes
Oh we're all just folks working in a wheel
Spinning all around life's cruel battlefield
Draw circles in the sand on a rainy day,
Watch it wash away I bet it shows up on a sunny beach a thousand miles away
Flutter from a butterfly forms a storm
Over half a million people die Oh we don't care because we're all
Desensitized

We don't realize we're putting all this shit before our children's eyes
Now every brand new generation
Have all been growing up with cracks in their foundation
We're tryna fill a holes of a whole damn nation
That's lost it's trust (that lost it's trust)
We gotta change before the train leaves the station
And realize the revolution in a revelation
It takes blood, sweat, tears, innovation It starts with us, it starts with
Us.

(Chorus)
Give the love around and back around it goes (around it goes)
Give the love around and back around it goes (around it goes)
Love to your friends (around it goes)
To your folks (around it goes)
Give the love around, back around it goes See the thing about
Karma is she loves a bit of drama, yeah
Loves to hunt you down and pay ya back for the things you did
Before you turn a positive to a negative
Better pray before you know exactly who the fuck you're dealing with
This is not a dance rehearsal, let me tell you kid
Whatever you put out there is coming back again
Years may burn (ohh)
Tables gonna turn
Karma's coming back around
Either way you're gonna learn
To give love to your neighbour, love to yourself
It don't matter bout your status
Man your health is your wealth
We can all point a finger but there's four pointing back at yourself
I'll be the bigger man now Give a little help

(Chorus)
Give the love around back around it goes
Around it goes (x2)
Give the love around back around it goes
Around it goes (x4)
Give the love around back around it goes

Fun Time

I'm in the middle of editing my Research Essay. It's going to be submitted either tomorrow or day after tomorrow. As usual, I'm listening to depapepe songs while doing my essay. I love this song called Fun Time by depapepe. Sounds so jazzy. Love the piano accompaniment. Anyway, I'm stuck in finding a back-up reference for my data in my essay. I can't seem to find the source. That's why I ended up blogging about this.

Masterchef Indonesia

I'm actually, simultaneously, watching Masterchef Indonesia while blogging this. But I don't report everything in detail, just the parts I find interesting.

There was a guest judge from Australia, Handi Mulyana. He is a cake artist there, and in fact, he is Masterchef Australia's Consultant Manager. I would have never thought that Masterchef Indonesia would actually invite someone really big in the cake industry. So sorry for the underestimation, but well played. Lol.

Handi Mulyana
As I was browsing the net for Handi Mulyana, I accidentally came upon his personal blog! LOL. Jackpot! Man, I sound really creepy right now. T________T. I don't mean to sound like a stalker but I would have never thought that I would encounter his blog during my browsing period. Okay, just ignore the jackpot part. Here you go, his blog --> click here
And his cake website --> press me

What makes me in awe of him is that he's an Indonesian and he succeeds in being a famous cake decorator in Australia. KYAA! Australia!

Then, right now, there is another guest judge from Bali, Iwayan Wicaya, the global chef world champion in the year 2010. He has brought the name of Indonesia (As Juna has pointed out). Oh yeah, have I mentioned that Juna cut his hair to mohawk. Extreme haircut, I suppose.

Iwayan Wicaya
I believe that Masterchef Indonesia Season 2 has taken their challenge to a whole new level compared to the first season. The challenges up till this point had been really tough. I mean, like for instance, how would you bake a cake without flour. Well, I can't imagine it any further, because, I'm not cook-y person. In fact, I don't cook. This challenge was the first challenge in today's episode and the winner was Ken. He got a Samsung Tablet. Such a jaw-dropping price.

Today's episodes is obviously a heart-throbbing one. There are only 3 main finalists left: Ken, Desi and Opik. Almost season finale. Yup, 2 men and one woman! I'm really hoping Desi or Ken would win this one.

Subsequently, a disappointment happened. Ken is eliminated and the 2 finalists remaining are Desi and Opik.  Man......... still disappointed.

Catoz's Birthday

Happy birthday Catoz! Sorry, it's a bit last minute but here you go a little something from us.
God Bless You always! And good luck in everything in Nihon aka Japan! LOL.

During the whole process of creating this image, I have found really cute websites! You have got to check them out: Puricute and Taaz

Puricute is an editing website with kawaii Japanese stickers. It's just like a photobooth but with this you can do it free of cost. While Taaz is an online makeup editor. Really simple and very user-friendly.

Happily N'ever After

Guess what! I have finally watched Happily Never After after so long! Alas, I could not find the online link to watch the first happily never after movie, so I just watched the second one. Usually, sequels of animated films like this turn out to be worse than the first one. But, to my good luck, I haven't watched the first one so I am unable to compare the both of them and this movie is actually pretty okay for children though. If I watched this when I was little, I would definitely love it. Now, not so much. A bit lame for me to be exact. Maybe I've gotten mature. NOOOOOO..

Happily Never After the sequel tells about a twisted story of Snow White. However, Snow White here is a bit naughty. She was struggling in maintaining her teenage popularity with controlling the kingdom. Not to mention the image of her dead mother, Queen Grace, kept haunting her. The people of the kingdom were  somewhat shocked by the fact that despite the splitting image of mother and daughter, both of their personalities were totally different. Queen Grace loved to help the people. While Snow White, just wanted to seek popularity and was tired of having the responsibility to assist her people. Meanwhile, Old King Cole, Snow White's dad, was having troubles controlling her spoiled Snow White. To resolve this, he decided to search for the perfect queen. Nevertheless, the balance operating the happy and bad endings of the kingdom became dysfunctional and all had gone topsy turvie. Due to this, a woman devoured by jealousy and power turned to Rumpelstiltskin to cast a spell upon her ugly face to be the exact resemblance of Queen Grace. King Cole was definitely charmed by her and decided to marry her. Along the way, Snow White started to alter her characters when she was confronted with the seven dwarfs in the woods. With Peter, Snow White's crush, together they came back to the kingdom to prevent the king from making a fatal choice. In the end, despite the title Happily Never After, they all lived happily ever after.

Honestly, the idea of the story plot line was not so bad after all. Nonetheless, I sometimes felt pissed watching posh Snow White yapping all the way. I hated her childish gestures, crying, weeping, when she didn't get what she wanted, or when her dad disagreed with her. Frankly, I was  really looking forward she would go into a deep slumber when she took a bite on that poisoned apple.Yet, the poisoned apple only charmed her by saying inappropriate mean things to everybody in the kingdom. urghh...

All in all, pretty okay movie. The reason I watched this movie was that last time I was searching for similar movies like Ella Enchanted. I was eager to find something else similar like that. Then, I saw this title. Moreover, this movie is a little similar to Shrek, combining the modern life in a medieval kingdom. But Shrek did it better. It did not overdo it like this one. This one got a cellphone during a medieval time period. That was just crossing the line.

Happy Birthday Mom

It's the 12th day of October, which means, it's mom's birthday!!!!!!!!!!! Happy birthday to my mom! Mom's birthday was on Friday this year. And I had to go to school today for 2 hours only! 2 HOURS! So nanggung right. But, it's a good thing I'm healthy and able to attend to school. If I had missed this one, I would totally go bonkers. Because, there were 4 new lecture topics on Math during those 2 hours of school. Math is going crazy since I started Uniprep.

Anyway, the bank sent my mom this scrumptious looking cake. I haven't got the chance to taste it. Maybe I will, tomorrow!

my mom's cake!
Basically, today is a non-productive day for me. I slept in the evening.. Maybe I was too tired sleeping so late last night for my English essay. Oh yeah, I didn't consult my tutor today. I was rushing to go home as the weather was starting to cloudy and about to rain. In order to not get wet, I rushed home as quickly as possible.

Again, Happy Birthday Mom! God bless you always!

If You Could See Me Now

It's almost the weekend people! Let us all get recharged once again! I love Thursdays. That's just because the next day is Friday and I usually have very little classes that day. Unfortunately, today, I was handed the final exam schedule which slightly drained my weekend mood. I panicked and basically worried about how I could go through the examination weeks and how my exam results would turn out.

Next problem, I have to submit in my final research essay next week. I'm a bit short of words in my first draft essay. I'm planning to consult to my English tutor tomorrow with my second draft. However, I haven't even started my second draft. Maybe I'll just have to burn the midnight candle for this.

Anyway, enough with the nerve-wrecking dishes.

I'm addicted to The Script songs! Their songs are deliriously good! I've just downloaded their third album yesterday. Credits to Cim for introducing me to this song below.

Oh if you could see me now
(Oh if you could see me now)

It was February fourteen, Valentine's Day
The roses came, but they took you away
Tattooed on my arm is a charm to disarm all the harm
Gotta keep myself calm but the truth is you're gone
And I'll never get to show you these songs
Dad, you should see the tours that I'm on,
I see you standing there next to Mom
Always singing along, yeah arm in arm
And there are days when I'm losing my faith
Because the man wasn't good he was great
He'd say music was the home for your pain
And explain, I was young, he would say
"Take that rage, put it on a page
Take the page to the stage
Blow the roof off the place"
I'm tryna make you proud
Do everything you did
I hope you're up there with God
Saying that's my kid

I still look for your face in the crowd
Oh if you could see me now
(Oh if you could see me now)
Would you stand in disgrace or take a bow
Oh if you could see me now
(Oh if you could see me now)

If you could see me now would you recognize me
Would you pat me on the back or would you criticize me
Would you follow every line on my tear stained face
Put your hand on a heart that's was cold
As the day you were taken away
I know it's been awhile but I could see you clear as day
Right now, I wish I could hear you say
I drink too much and I smoke too much dutch
But if you can't see me now that shit's a must
You used to say I won't know I will until it cost me
Like I won't know real love till I've loved then I've lost it
And if you've lost a sister, someone's lost a mom
And if you've lost a dad, then someone's lost a son
And they're all missing now, and they're all missing now
So if you get a second to look down at me now
Mum, Dad, I'm just missing you now

I still look for your face in the crowd
Oh if you could see me now
Would you stand in disgrace or take a bow?
Oh if you could see me now

Oh... Oh...
Would you call me a saint or a sinner?
Would you love me a loser or winner?
Oh... Oh...
When I see my face in the mirror
We look so alike that it makes me shiver

I still look for your face in the crowd
Oh if you could see me now
Would you stand in disgrace or take a bow?
Oh if you could see me now

I still look for your face in the crowd
Oh if you could see me now
Would you stand in disgrace or take a bow?
Oh if you could see me now

Oh...
You could see, you could see me now
(You could see, you could see me now)

Furthermore, I am actually continuing to watch Friends TV series. SEASON 8! 2 more seasons to go and I'm through! I'm a bit frenzy at the moment after watching Friends. I laughed non-stop. Like literally! This sitcom will surely lighten up your day. You will absolutely burst out with laughter!

Perhaps I should begin my second draft research essay right now. And before that I should make myself a cup of coffee to keep me awake. GOOD LUCK TO ME!

Thai Songs

To make things straight, I am in love with Thai songs. Not only that the music videos are cute but the melody is pretty catchy. I don't understand any of the words they are saying. But the main point is, they all sound good!

Here are the following music videos I have watched yesterday.

The guy above kinda looks a bit like Kwangsoo. LOL

The guy on the video above kinda resembles Indonesia's famous dangdut singer, Rhoma Irama's son. If I'm not mistaken his son is Rhido Rhoma..
Excuse any spelling mistake :)

I'm a bit surprised at the music video above. It appears that the vocalist is a ladyboy. A drop-dead gorgeous ladyboy.

I love this one too! The girl is pretty.

The video above is so cute! Love the setting at the ice cream parlor.

And last but not least, my most favorite music video and song of all the Thai musics I've listened yesterday would be this one below entitled "Instinct" . Can't stop listening to this!

Excursion to Bella Campa Gadog (5.10.12)

Yesterday, I went on an excursion with my school for a team building experience at Bella Campa Gadug in Ciawi. I should have blogged about this yesterday but I was too tired to spare some endless hours uploading the pictures Mrs Uthe took on my digicam.

the schedule and ivitation Uniprep gave to every student
We were asked to meet up at school by 6:30 in the morning as the bus was going to leave at 7. So I woke up very early to avoid being late and missing the bus. But as soon as I reached Uniprep, the room was still dark. Luckily, I met Mrs Didi inside. She gave me the shirt we were supposed to wear that day.

The shirt was some sort of baseball type of shirt. There were 2 colors: red and blue. Uniprep students were handed the red shirts while UIC got the blue ones.

At 7o'clock, there were still some late arriving students. Moreover, some of them might probably were still on their way to school. So we waited for half more hour before we set forth to Ciawi.

Consequently, we left school by 7:30 to 8:00 ..

There were 2 buses, S1 (my class) was put in bus 1 along with commerce students and UIC students. There were only 5 of us, me, Citra, Felix, Nicho and Sharon, attending the field trip from s1.

So at around 9 past something, we have arrived to our destination!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As soon as we have stepped off the bus, we could just feel the gentle breeze. The air was really fresh! Despite the cool breeze, the sun was scorching at us.

First off, we were all gathered to the field. The people in charge for the event told us to form a big circle. Then there was this awkward yet fun game we played. The names of the instructions were wacky too like: ojek, lampu merah, kuncup mekar, dayung. For the ojek instruction, we were instructed to take a person and go anywhere we want within the circle. While lampu merah, we should form groups of 3 following the three traffic signal colors: red, yellow and green. Kuncup mekar, 4 people, and Dayung 5. It's a bit hard to explain by words but at least you got the picture. In fact, these organizers used this type of instructions to scatter us around to form groups. These groups again were fixed for the rest of the day for our activity.

Eventually, 6 groups of 10 members each were formed. And each group was given a different color cloth to represent themselves. I got the green color! YAY! Beyond expectation, Nicho was in my group too. I thought I was going to be the only S1 student in my group. HAHA.

With Mr. Hafiz. He was one of the reasons I joined this field trip.  ps: I look completely awkward here

Group IJO! Starting from top left: Nicho, me, Michelle, Rinda, Jesselyne, Nanda, Irene. Bottom left: Danny, Ardi, Bryan

Group MERAH! Citra's Group! back row left: Mr Andri (Computer tutorial teacher), Mr Bagus (Commerce teacher), Rolland, 2 other guys of which I know not the name of.. Front row left: I only know Citra and Winnie. LOL.

Red and green!!!!
Oh yeah I should have probably mentioned this earlier that Simon, my principal, brought his dog with him! He drove so early in the morning finding that no one had reached there. So to kill time, he walked his dog around the place.

After the division of groups, the green team played the Spider Web game. Frankly, this game was frustrating. The goal of this game was to move the ball only with the help of some flexible ropes to the other side of the pole. The ball should not touch the ground and the members should not touch the area enclosed by the circular rope around the ball.

Obviously, my team had spent some quite of a time but was unable to complete the goal.

While the green team was playing the Spider Game, the pink team was playing the Wet Trap game. The goal of Wet Trap is to hand the stick safely to the leader who was sitting under a bucket of water which was going to pour at any second when the blindfolded folder made the hurdle fall. The leader could be anybody. The members of each team would take turn. So basically, the leader should pinpoint the right direction and instructions to the blindfolded followed to avoid getting wet.

Mr John Rawkins, Legal studies lecturer as well as tutor, got his turn being the leader. He was covering himself with a rubbish bin cap to cover himself.
the bamboo hurdles that could topple easily
In the meantime, the red team was also playing the Spider Game! They were also facing difficulties. As a matter of fact, there were no teams able to complete the goal. The white team was really close on achieving the goal, but the ball tumbled down.
red team.

Apparently, it was lunch time. All teams went back to the hut to eat. It was overall a good and satisfying meal.

Bryan, me and Mrs Dessy.... I should have sat on the floor but instead I sat on a chair. HUAHAHA..
After lunch, Diana, Citra, Nicho and I went down to take photos!

that swimming pool was used for the Tabung Bocor game which happened later on during the evening

Accordingly, it was the green team's turn for The Wet Trap Challenge. It was pretty hard for me to succeed. I even failed the first hurdle.

Danny and Ardi! Danny was successful of not getting Ardi got wet.

My turn to be blindfolded, unfortunately, Nicho got wet.

I got wet too

Jesselyne

Rinda's turn

the red team was on the other side playing the same game
while the blue team was in the middle of the Spider Web Challenge. There was my computer lecturer, the one and only, Mrs Yacko!

Pak Yusuf, he took pictures
After the Wet Trap Challenge, we moved on to another challenge named The Labyrinth. The goal was to quickly tilt the maze to let a total of 15 marbles out in the Finish hole during a limit of 5 minutes! Nicho was in charge of inserting each marble into the maze.

Maze Challenge Complete!
Moving on, it was the Flying fox!

don't look down
When I tried crossing this bridge, I was the first to step onto the rope, and when my teammates followed me from behind, the rope was shaking so much that I almost fell. I kept on screaming and shrieking. Total nightmare. I did fall when I reached the finish line, it was a good thing that there was the pawang who helped me get up.

Even, Mr Fletcher, my Chemistry teacher, tried crossing the bridge

After the flying fox, there was another challenge of 5th Legged Race. It was really hard. During the game, the rain started to fall. But still, we were still out on the field as we were watching the teachers doing the race too. And when they had reached the finish line, we all threw them plastics filled with water. They were really wet because of us. After a while, the rain started pouring.

Some of the students played in the rain. And the Tabung Bocor game started too to those who wanted to play. While people were playing the game, Diana, Nathania, Bunga, Kristasia, Della, Rolland and me played Uno.

Before we went home, the winner of all games were announced. 6th place was Red Team, 5th place Pink Team, 4th place Yellow Team, 3rd Blue Team, 2nd Green Team and first place went to the White Team.

At 5, we went home. Traffic was unbearable. It took us 2 hours to reach school. At around 7 past something, we had reached school. And all of us went home.

I decided to take a taxi but then there was no taxi passing so I had to take the busway. I reached home at around 9:30.

In a nutshell, yesterday was fun. Plus, I got a sunburn on my face.
