Sweet 17!

After days of trying to upload this post, all the error prompts, I eventually manage to get this post to be published! Sorry for the uber late date.

Recently I celebrated my Sweet 17. Just a simple gathering with friends at the mall. Last day of hanging out with Clarein too. See her blog --> Clarein

Just letting you all know that I finally bought white nail polish! A rip off of OPI but who cares, it works just fine. A little too liquid-y. But still it works fine.

Got a mini surprise from Cim, Vivi and Helen. Cim made birthday flapjacks! I would have never imagined I would get such surprise. I have never gotten a birthday surprise before. That is one of the disadvantage of having a birthday in holiday weeks.

I was still feeling sleepy
At around 10:30-ish, went to GI to meet up with Clarein, Dennise, Darren, Devan, and Evelyn. Bought tickets to the Rise of The Guardians! Pretty cool animation movie. Well duh, Dreamworks always creates unexpected movies. The crew there are so imaginative!

After the movie,we were all feeling a bit hungry, and so we met up with Eve first, then headed to a restaurant called Sumpit which means Chopsticks in Indonesian language. It was my first time eating there. Unfortunately, not a big fan. LOL.

Dennise's tomyam fried rice! This tastes better than my dish. I should have ordered that one instead of mine
Furthermore, I did not know that the serving size would be so big. I was struggling trying to finish up my meal. I think I might be the last one to finish lunch compared to the others. It was so unlike me to finish last. weird.

Then we departed with Clarein! Last time seeing her around in Indonesia :( ! Good luck in Michigan clare! Don't freeze to death! Just kidding! HAHA..
Btw clare (if you're reading this), I can't seem to be able to post comments on your blog! whyyyyyy! the captcha thingy problem.

Afterwards, stopped by at T-Rex Karaoke. Sang stuffs there.

Darren was awesome at Karaoke! He got really high scores! ckckck..

I tried a new bubble drink too from a new store called ComeBuy. I ordered the wrong menu again. I ordered green tea with bobba with less sugar. And it was ultimately bitter! ew! What was wrong with my head. Kept on ordering yucky food.

As I got home, there was a cake sent from the bank.

I opened the present from Dennise too! Thank you Dennise! :3

Candies! really good!

and this. :3 beauty products
The next day I got buns from my Mandarin Teacher! Simply delicious! haha..

Cim also prepared a birthday video for me. But unfortunately there was something wrong with the format. Hence I can't upload it to youtube and post it here. :(

Merry Christmas 2012!

Merry Christmas everybody! The post is a bit late, but I corrected the schedule though. LOL. I spent my Christmas at church with my family.

At night, there was a musical drama entitled "Touched By The Master's Hand". And Rev. Benny Solihin presented the sermon.

Touched By The Master's Hand is about the life of a violin from how it was being created, brought in by a family, and how it got broken and thrown away with no one wanting it. But in the end, with the touch of the violin maker, the violin was renewed once more and bidders at the auction were competing to get their hands on the violin.

The violin acts as a metaphor for all individuals while the violin maker in this case is God. Likewise, during our life, we would have possibly come across hurdles that may torn us to pieces. But then, during our defeated times and hard times, God helps us and renew us once more.

My church friends performed there too. I was really excited seeing their faces from my seat which was so far away from the stage. The point is, I got to see their faces!

Then, the lighting of the candles, but instead of candles, my church used candle-form torches.

Wishing you all a blissful Christmas! May God Bless You Forever! :)

I ate Santa's Cookies

Today is Christmas Eve! I woke up today and found that someone had slipped in a safety pin in my pants! So sharp and why would someone put it inside my pants and how did he/she put it. There is no hole in my pants. urgh. So maybe throughout the night, this pin kept on poking me. Thankfully, I didn't bleed.

Look how it got bend when I tried to take it out by force out of my pants.
Anyway, my mandarin teacher sent me these Christmas Cookies which is delicious! I love cookies like these.

Oh yeah, the cookies are finished. And I want more of them! T_T

Stromy Saturday

I should have posted this yesterday but then I was lazy to. Such an illegitimate reason huh.. So what. My internet is running slow these days. That's just because I am downloading all 10 seasons of Friends! Oh yeah, I am totally re-watching them again!

Let's get to the point. It was raining cats and dogs yesterday. It was really dark and so windy.

Obviously, I spent the evening nail painting with my sisters, Cim and Helen. Apparently, Vivi didn't want to be painted. Although I have offered her I could do the Elf language nails that I have watched on youtube.

Cim wanted Totoro nails. And I decided to copy the simplest totoro nail I found on google.
credits to photobucket and google

It turns out pretty close though. HAHA..

While I was painting cim's nails, Helen decided to redo her black nails which I have painted first with a shiny metallic pink. It appears that she didn't clean her nails properly. Looks like a kid's hand after playing with dirt all day.

On the other hand, pfft, hand, get it.. Okay, moving on.. I did a water marble art with a cling wrap. I was trying to mix up Christmas colors : red, green, metallic green and gold. But then, it turns out to be a yucky metallic some sort of color I can't identify. Anyway, I immediately erased it after taking a picture of it.

Then, I decided to do a Christmas theme. After the failure of the water marble nail art, I made this. Santa, a distorted cookie and a glass of milk, a very dented looking christmas tree, christmas ornament, and a snow falling in a glittery-orange background.

After washing my hand, all the fingers except for the middle one got smudged, and I once more erased it. Leaving only the Christmas tree on my middle finger. It is completely intentional. LOL. Because, I think, it's the best one among the other 4 failures.

P.s: Clarein if you are reading this, it seems that I can't comment on your blog because of the incomplete captcha thingy. And so I couldn't proof myself of being a human and couldn't post my comment on your post. Btw, please bb on soon! Or leave a comment down below! Oh yeah, I recently texted you on your esia, but you didn't reply. You probably have changed your number right?

P.s.s: To Bella, check your mail

P.s.s.s: Lol, someone just made a fool of oneself. jkjk..

Critical Mistake

I was at a point of creating a new tumblr for my nails, but then I mistook my usual tumblr to be my new one and accidentally edited. To worsen the situation, I don't have any backup of my previous theme. This is just terrible. On the bright side, I get to add a new set of playlist. However, there are less songs compared with the previous playlist.

Btw, I've edited something too for this blog! A playlist! Yey, it took me sometime browsing songs of youtube for the link. I'm getting sleepy right now too. hoam.. Good night :)

Spirited Away

I'm not going to lie, this Spirited Away nails are disastrous. I got inspired by the movie Spirited Away which you guys should totally watch or may have watched it already. The movie is so good! I have watched it 3 times and it is still good.

I should probably redo my nails to a christmas theme nails. And I have to buy white nail polish ASAP! It is so important!

p.s: I so crave watching The Script concert in Sydney so badly! However, Cim and I missed the last day of buying the tickets online! Please if possible, I really want my first concert to be of my fav band, The Script! ARGH! Anyone, who is so kind-hearted, and who has spare tickets, please show up, and offer some reasonable price of 2 tickets to The Script Concert 2013 at Sydney Entertainment Center!

The Hobbits

Today I went out to watch The Hobbits premiere with my sisters, Ci Lisda, Ko Ronald (my coaching teacher) and Ci Mei (his wife). It was my first time going out with my coaching teacher and his wife. Anyway, I'm so psyched to be watching The Hobbits ! I have been waiting for quite a long time, I know I have been patient for so long for this movie to be released. Although I have only read one-third of the The Hobbits parody called The Soddit, I have never attempted to buy and read the real novel myself. I think I might have glanced at it once at my school library, but then I went away reading another book.

The Soddit
So, as usual, went to EX/PI to watch movies. We went there as fast as we could before the ticket counter ran out of Hobbits tickets. I don't want that to happen! Technically, there were only 3 people before us lining up, but the first buyer took so long to buy tickets! I took a sneak peak at how much tickets they had bought, and you know what, they bought a total of Rp. 825k ! They had almost taken half of the theater seats! Fortunately they were buying the 19:30 pm tickets while we wanted the noon ticket which was at 1!

We got about half an hour to eat before entering the studio. Most restaurants were crowded then because workers were having their lunch breaks. Eventually, we went to Pancious and ate there. It took us half an hour to order, eat, talk, and pay the bill. We were in a hurry as we didn't want to be late for the premiere!

I ordered green tea, red bean waffle with vanilla ice cream on top. tasted so good!

We made it on time for the movie! Bought popcorns and we were ready to be amused by this epic movie!

As expected from The Unexpected Journey, the movie was amazing! I can watch it again and again! But at cinemas though. I don't like watching epic movies at home. I don't have the acquired technology to recreate the awesome sound effects like the theaters supply. It just won't be the same watching at home. Besides, I bet for sure that if I watched it at home, I would doze off quite a couple of times like Lord of The Rings.

Then, we said goodbye to Ko Ronald and Ci Mei, and headed straight to GI to stop by at Gramedia for new comics (if any and if they were good). We encountered this Korean-drama-made-into-an-Indonesian-comic. Heartstring... Why would Elex print this! --"

Minhyuk's parts! Look willdy!
What's a day-out without buying a bubble tea? That would be like a day without a sun. Okay, I'm not making sense here.

Took a photo before setting forth too.

looked so grumpy here. --"
Okay, we departed and we took a bus home. So crowded! Couldn't believe that we waited an hour for a bus! Not to mention after reaching home, I smelled so sticky and so smelly like abang2. EW! Imagining it just makes me sick.
