Food Aunt

Today, mom and us (me and my sisters) went out with my Piuku (aunt) Lily to Gandaria City. This is my first time going there and I must say that this is my favorite mall ever! You might wonder why? Because, it's big, spacious, and most importantly it is not crowded at all. Despite all the sales everywhere, there are very little visitors that eases us to search through the items without having to compete with people.

I am not the type of girl who likes to shop so much. But this is an urgent case because my cousin is getting married next week and I don't have any clothes, much or less heels. That's why I spent the day shopping. Shopping is so hard. Man, if I were a billionaire, to make life easier, I would buy the whole department store to myself.. However, that would be impossible.

So we strolled around, entered shops after shops, until we got hungry. We all decided to eat at a Korean Restaurant called Chaesundang. We were the only customers there. HAHA. A funny thing happened when ordering the dishes. My aunt asked the waiter which beverage is not sweet, and the waiter straightaway answered "Tea". Okay, it's not that funny writing it down.

blurry image. I love that spoon and chopstick.

capjae. This tastes so good! I love it so much! Although the noodles are so chewy and I got choked from time to time.
Bimbimbap
yummy! But it's a bit different from the one I tried from Sushi Groove. But both taste really nice.

pancake or as my aunt calls it Korean's martabak
Gimbab. This tastes plain but plus points for the rice though!

I think I'm in love with Korean food.  I always have this presumption in my head that Korean food only goods on the outside and would taste yucky. However, I was completely wrong. Never judge a book by its cover, aye.

After lunch, we went around the mall again. And it was time for dinner. Ate at Sushi Tei. Apparently I just knew that whenever there is a person's birthday in that specific week we dine in there, they will serve us a special rice birthday cake. Luckily, Vivi's birthday falls on this week and so she gets this awesome gift from Sushi Tei.

Afterwards, we went around the mall again and my mom and piuku both decided to sign up a Gandaria member card. So while waiting, my sisters and I took pictures with the Sanrio castle display.

Btw,  I have never known that Hello Kitty's partner's name is Dear Daniel. LOL.

On our way home, we found this statue of a naked girl sitting on a horse. Oops, I mean woman not girl. --" ..

So at around 9 past something, we went home. We had spent about 9 hours at Gandaria City! Whoah, Ive never spent so much time on wandering around the mall.

items bought: 3 pairs of heels, 3 dresses.
All in all, Gandaria City is a great place to hang out with people. The food there is complete. You can conduct a culinary tour there. JK. There is a Turkish ice cream though like the one I saw at Shanghai expo! The ice cream server is Caucasian too. There is Yokomon ice cream too, the one I bought at the cosplay convention at PRJ.

I hope I might get to visit that mall again soon.
