Freedom! (Candy Sushi)

The test was okay SUPPOSEDLY! The best aspect of the test was that I got to sit down at the first station. I don't know whether I would excel or not. But the most important thing is that I have finished all tests! Especially with God's never-ending grace, I was given great health throughout the exam period. I was not sick nor feeling unwell. Thank God for that.

Anyway, it was raining quite heavily. Such a gloomy weather.

Alvin, Kevin and I made this awesome konapun. I am not sure if I spelled that right. But the three of us made sushi candies. Kevin and Alvin bought it in North Sydney some while ago. And they were kind enough to wait for me to make this awesomely inner-child-cracker. hahaha

these are supposed to be the plates?

lol.

Pretty proud of ourselves! YEY good job! Close enough :)

Afterwards, I got bible study that night.

ANAT Practical Spot Test

a cup of warm milk and cookies to start the day
My last test is just right around the corner. This is probably the most stressful exam week ever. My heart could not stop thumping when I was studying. I was too worried. Not to mention how screwed I was for the theory part of the Anatomy test. Well, I guess I just have to surrender everything to God. I have tried my best and let God do the rest. I should simply have faith in Him more. Maybe, this is God's way of trying to open my eyes that I should not depend on my own hard work. I should be dependent on Him.

Sharon's Post-Birthday-Surprise

It has been about week past Sharon's birthday! We decided to surprise her up right after we finished exam. I had my anatomy exam that day. I went blank. What I didn't predict would come up came out. I was super screwed. I felt really pessimistic as I stepped out of the examination hall. I saw smiling faces when I got down the escalator. I definitely was not myself that day. I kept on blabbering about the epic fail attempt on my exam to my friends. I am 100% sure that they were kinda pissed listening to my negative chatters.

So, Kevin, Alvin, Try, Sheila and I straightaway went to Eastgardens to buy the gift. The plan was that we all would meet up near Sharon's place and surprised her together.

Cute birthday card <3

the gift

When we arrived to Eastgardens, we saw that body shop was closing down. We all were gazing in front and suddenly the store person asked us what we wanted. And then Kevin told them that we needed a birthday present for our friend. And we only had to choose between the strawberry flavor or the coconut one. Basically we were so in a rush that we immediately without much hesitation chose the strawberry one over the coconut. That was definitely the quickest transaction I have ever made in my life especially when choosing a gift.

Then we went to Try's place to pick up the birthday cake. And waited for Heidy, Irene and Silvy. We met Ribka along the way too. So at Try's place we wrote our wishes on the card.

It was a bit drizzling outside, the wind was unbearable, I had to hold on to my umbrella to avoid it from flying or broken.

So we asked Sheila to call out Sharon first while we lighted up the candles.

After blowing the candles, we all went back to Try's place to avoid the commotion and so that Sharon and Sheila's landlady would not be disturbed by the noise. We ate the cake and we talked for a longer time.

Afterwards, it was time for dinner. I was craving for chinese food. But when we got into Cheungsing, it was majorly booked and we had to wait for about 30 minutes. Then we moved to a Japanese restaurant but we had to wait for 40minutes which was a big-no-no for us. Then in the end we ate at Kura, another Japanese restaurant. We waited for 20 minutes before we got in.

It was a great dinner, we laughed, we talked, and I guess Sharon was having the best time of her life. She wasn't expecting of the surprise. It was a total bombshell for her. A good one though :)

Semester Two First Year Exams

Aa you know, I have been totally inactive in posting blog these days. That is just because of the current exam weeks I am facing right now. An absolutely horrifying schedule I got for this semester exam. I got two tests in a day. It was finally over. And it was definitely a brain-and-stamina-squeezer. I was super tired when I got home and decided to sleep. Now I am wide awake studying for my anatomy test in saturday. Such a slow progress. It has been hours and I am only stuck with one chapter. grr.

obsessive compulsive CRAZY life

Friday the 13th that marks the freedom of my mid semester burden this semester! I had my anatomy spot test today. It was freaking different from what I was expecting! I was aiming high at first but by the look of the spot test today, a pass is a definite enough for me. I just need a pass man. This worths 25% of the whole course mark and once you went blank on something, it's not going to come back. This test is not some sort of test that you could goof up some jumble-up words and get away with a point. As I said before, once your mind gone, it ain't coming back.

I know I have been missing too long from this "pudding" part of my world but as you know I have been hitting the books! And as you see, that picture above is the epitome of all the stressful events that have been happening lately. From tests to mobile providers. You should see my current state of bedroom. It's a mess and I don't know where to start tidying up.

Anyway, I promise I'll update soon! So catch you all later!

In case you're wondering about the epic title. It's a phrase from a song obsessive compulsive crazy love, but then I changed the love to life. That's how random I could get now. Gonna hit the shower, and see you in an hour time for more blog posts!

Surveying the Racecourse

This is the continuation of the previous post.

So in the evening, Bunga, Della and me had to survey the place of our examination which is located in the racecourse! Could you believe it?! The RACECOURSE. Yep, the place where horses are being raced for competition. We had to take a look at the place to avoid being lost on the examination day.

We took the bus and apparently to our bad luck we stopped at a bus stop which was uber far away from the racecourse. We had to walk endless steps before reaching the place. It's like an exercise for me though.

Upon arriving at the location, it was practically empty. I took photos, duh? What would you expect.

the place where we'll be facing the finals

we had to pass this tunnel too.

super tourist much. it was plainly intentional. no harm done. LOL.

I am completely worried about exams right now! Wish me luck!!!! agrhhhh! After surveying, we went to stop by at the post office. And took a bus nearby there.

Queen's Birthday

It was the Queen's birthday! A public holiday! I'm currently in my student vacation week! I have to study all the courses before finals though!

Today, met up with Ribka at the Terraces. Studied some part of Biology then we were off to Ko Ong's place at the mascot. Took the 400 bus! You know what, I have to start learning about the buses here in Aussies. I am totally street blind if that is even an English term to describe how lost I could be. I am lacking in aerial intelligence here.

Ribka and I were the last one to arrive at the place. It was a good thing that I was with Ribka. Or else I would be lost and it would just cause too much trouble.

Ci Frida and the others were preparing Korean BBQ when we got there! It smelled so wonderful.

Photobomb ribka
By the time we reached there, we were both so starving! We were offered beefs after beefs though. It was super satisfying. It was delicious as well. Who doesn't like BBQ? Like no one. Duh.

Yep, I am still underaged and am not allowed to drink alcohol. But I took a sip anyway from Cim's glass. It was bitter. Q_Q

After lunch, we went inside to watch Mind Your Language! Such a great sitcom. It was hilarious. And the theme song sounds so nostalgic. We laughed a lot.

Then, we went karaoke-ing on the Xbox that the Ongs have.

Then, we played Just Dance. Guys vs Girls. We burned down the fats we just consumed a while ago which was a good thing.

After being tired and it was getting late, we went home.

Ribka and I continued on studying at my place.
