Hello

Hey again ! Just a quick update. Today as on the 30th of October 2015! I finally completed my last assignment for my bachelor degree! I submitted it quite late though, so hoping that it won't get penalised. Have mercy on us (Referring to myself and my teammate).

Final exams are just right around the corner, lurking around, waiting to strike me. I have not done much of any preparation yet, but I better should start soon! Wish me luck. Let the three final exams BEGIN. I kinda have this mixture of feelings of wanting to get over with all the finals asap but then I don't want that uni feeling to end since I am finishing soon. I just hope i pass the courses and not fail in any of them, cos i don't want to repeat.

Went to church and there were boardgames <3 afterwards. Then we went around the city and showed Vivi her the way to her uni. 

Monday, 2nd of March

It's the first day of uni and uni gets even more crowded than ever. There are so many new first years this intake. I really enjoy my 9am morning lecture on Immunology. I really like the lecturer. I could not believe I would bump into my biochem lab mate in that lecture too. I thought I would only know Sharon in this course, but I see a lot of familiar faces (Well, duh, 3rdyear course, obvious much). The second lecture which is Bioc was quite boring. I could not understand a thing even though it was just a repetition of last sem's course. Man. Went to Eastgardens with Sharon and Vivi. Bought some bags and sandals.

I think I went grocery shopping after class. 

Wednesday, 4th of March

Vivi and I were being such a glutton and snacking on popcorn and eating garlic bread while watching a thriller. The picture speaks for itself

Kevin's Birthday Surprise

Today was Kevin's 20th birthday. It seems surreal that this bloke is turning 20! So, my friends and I planned out a surprise for him. He was super paranoid that we would throw him something foul to embarrass him in public. pfft, yeah, like we would do that. We, respectable comrades will never do such a shameful thing to a mate. Honestly, some of us planned to do it, but I believe it would be a real troublesome to throw something wet in uni. Imagine that we have to clean up the mess afterwards. Or maybe we would be fined or something. I don't know.

Anyway, I did a huge mistake of setting the time of celebrating Kevin's birthday. I didn't know that everyone of us were free at 11. Our original plan was at 3 which only a few could make it.

Basically at 11, there was an impromptu surprise of blowing trumpets and singing happy birthday to Kevin at the courtyard. It was a total mess because I was the only one who was the loudest and yeah.. I could see that Kevin's face was utterly disappointed with the birthday surprise. I was just laughing inside. He didn't know then that we had cake planned later on.

Afterwards, we continued our uni as per schedule.

After lecture, I tried to be as vague as I could to stop Kevin from catching a bus home. He started to be energised once more that there was another surprise for him. Okay, that leaked pretty bad.

Santa and Raymond were already waiting for the cake at the Village Green. I walked as fast as I could leaving Kevin behind with Alvin and Marco. I had to light up the candle. But then when I reached the cake, the lighter I brought was malfunctioning. The candle was unable to light up. We had to borrow a stranger's smoker. Kevin was waiting on the other table. This plan was failing already.

It was a great day for him I believe. Glad that he liked it. He was touched though. Maybe, that's the reason we should be proud of in accomplishing the birthday surprise plan. 

G'day in Sydney

I have arrived in Sydney and yet another full year to tackle! There were a lot of familiar Indos on the plane! It was super cool. I managed to bring the microscope safely.

We emptied our luggages as soon as we arrived in coogee, then headed to Cim's place to put our empty luggages there and went straight to Uni for o-week. The oweek was practically empty, there were less stalls. I didn't get much freebies.

Later on at lunch there were a Campus Bible Study pizza event, I was too full to even devour a single slice. I just love the feeling of losing my appetite after hours of spending on the plane. This always happen. I hope it would stay.. HAWHAW..

At night, we ate dinner at Sushi Tengoku! The best place to eat sushi in my opinion. The servings are satisfying.

Despite the lack of sleep, I managed to go through the whole day without taking an afternoon nap to avoid some jetlag whatsoever. phew.

Sayonara First Year

I was still packing stuffs out of Terrace! A year contract is finally over! I am super going to miss terrace so much! Time goes by so fast. I can't believe this. Not only, I have finished first year, I am not going to be a freshman anymore and I will not be underaged and next year I'll be living with my friend in waterloo. How fast is that. Not only will I miss terrace but also I will miss my first year life.

Anyway, when I was cleaning out this bottle of soap, I guessed I kept the water running and the bubbles flowing, and suddenly it became like the picture on the right. I was washing in the sink and I never thought that it would rise up from the ground opening, I have no idea what's it called, but yeah, this happened.

Goodbye Old Pudding

My results are out today! I am super glad it is all over! I have passed all subjects due to God's grace and blessings! What got me super excited again was that I do not have to repeat anatomy anymore! HOORAY! Thank God SO MUCH!

By the way, in relation to the title, how do you like my new theme? I was triggered in changing my new theme after being requested by Laura. (Here you go Lau, another shout-out to you)

Luminocity

There is a light exhibition held by the Art and Design faculty in UNSW called Luminocity! The event is a depiction of the future. Laura came today. She lent her human atlas book to me. It was very useful. Talking about useful resources, Sapi and Grace also gave me their spot test practice exams. They were definitely useful! I am so blessed that I have great friends like them.

Anyway, after toasting my brain with more anatomy stuffs, I went to take a break by looking at the light exhibition. Despite the rain, the show was still going on.

My last test is just right around the corner. This is probably the most stressful exam week ever. My heart could not stop thumping when I was studying. I was too worried. Not to mention how screwed I was for the theory part of the Anatomy test. Well, I guess I just have to surrender everything to God. I have tried my best and let God do the rest. I should simply have faith in Him more. Maybe, this is God's way of trying to open my eyes that I should not depend on my own hard work. I should be dependent on Him.

Semester Two First Year Exams

Aa you know, I have been totally inactive in posting blog these days. That is just because of the current exam weeks I am facing right now. An absolutely horrifying schedule I got for this semester exam. I got two tests in a day. It was finally over. And it was definitely a brain-and-stamina-squeezer. I was super tired when I got home and decided to sleep. Now I am wide awake studying for my anatomy test in saturday. Such a slow progress. It has been hours and I am only stuck with one chapter. grr.
