This is long overdue but I am going to post this anyway. So this halloween, a bunch of us went to Luna Park to dress up as friendly cartoon characters to wander around the theme park getting a taste of halloween. I personally had never celebrated halloween before if I exclude the times when I was "forced" to use a black cape to read the thought of the day in a school assembly. That was not proper dressing up. It was not a real cape. But I enjoyed it anyway.

Coming back to this halloween-palooza madness. I have been waiting for this day since the first day we purchased the ticket. We got the early bird rates which was pretty cool. I had a pretty tough week and was so excited for this to come. I had finished all my assignments beforehand and yea this was my afterparty.

I dressed up as Mario and Vania as Luigi. We made a perfect match huh.

Definitely a great night spent, grateful that it did not rain that night. It was hot and stuffy with all the people around. Best ride would be the mystery manor. We took 2 hours just to queue. Not to mention, my camera was malfunctioning. I was in a panic. And just to make it worse, I lost my camera lens cap. We were walking around with our flashlight looking on the streets. Thank you to Clarissa and Sonia who helped me. But in the end it was a silly accident, as the lens cap fell and got stuck in the folded area of my pants. Thank God. At the end of the day, it was a night full of screams indeed. I just realised I am a bit of a chicken myself. All the staff actors and actresses were just spot on ! 

Central Perk at Hyde Park

It's a Central Perk Pop UP cafe opening at Hyde Park! How cool is this. It was always my current obsession to visit this due to the influence of the big hit tv series, FRIENDS. The line was huge though. We had to wait for 2 hours to get into this small cafe. Regardless it was WORTH IT

Floriade

A 3-hour road trip to Canberra is definitely not a bad idea. Well, look who's talking, am I right, I was not the one who drove all the way from Sydney to Canberra. However, if I was able to drive and if I had a car in Sydney, I would be most delighted to drive! I love car rides! And surprisingly I did not feel queasy in the whole journey. 

At 7:30 Ko Freddie picked Cim, Vivi and I from Coogee and we headed straight to Maccas for some breakkie and afterwards off we went to Canberra. Our car troop also included Ivan. It was a fun car ride, we played the always-go-to-game called the ABC-lima-dasar, all Indo kids would be familiar with this. We also listened to some music and sang to some tunes as well. 

When we had arrived, we had to go for a pee-pee, since we had been holding it for 3 hours. And we came upon this cute little banner shack just outside the toilet. I still regretted why I only took this single photo, and if you could see in the top right corner you could see Vivi's finger. Oh my, I still feel irritated looking at it. I know you would think why I could not just crop it, but hey yea, there is this thing about my laptop, apparently after I have edited all the photos in iphoto, it still shows the original version of the photo. This don't usually happen. And I could not even be bothered to find out why.
