Santa turns 21

Wishing the very best to this hongkie girl, Santa! Happy birthday! There was a bbq party in which she organised by herself to celebrate her 21st birthday.

I had to leave early because Vivi had an accident and she chipper her teeth. I had to accompany her to the dentist. 

Kathleen's and Ci Amei's belated birthdays

13th of April, Monday

I was occupied with my Babs3121 report being absolutely confused with everything. HELP.

14th of April, Tuesday

Finally being reunited with fellow uni-friends with some comfort food. Another belated birthday bash for Kathleen. We laughed a lot and also at the end of the day we even decided to make a new whatsapp group just to record dreams we have every night. Such dedication. 

16th of April, Thursday

Despite the test tomorrow, I was quite stressed out sometime in the afternoon that I kept on procrastinating by playing the guitar and snapping my fingers as my snapstory. I know, it is uber lame. 

17th of April, Friday

Did the babs3121 quiz today. Followed with the online personal finance quiz which was quite hard despite it being an open-book test. We had a belated birthday surprise to Ci Amei in our bible study group that night. Better late than never, right.

25th March 2015, Wednesday

I finally finished the Just For Starters with Irene after months of doing it. But then again it is not about the speed of completion of the book but about learning something about it in the end. 

28th March 2015, Saturday

Had a meeting early morning in Maroubra for Copin and Danju's wedding. I was wearing the wrong outfit and it was super chilly that day. I was sort of wearing a skort and baggy one indeed and I felt a bit like Marilyn Monroe when the wind was gushing down under. The moral of the story is definitely to check the weather forecast and look out for the wind speed and wear something appropriate. Later that evening, I had a meet up with Ci Hilda after been missing a few weeks. We talked quite a lot though. Afterwards, I had to catch up with Santa as well. We had an early dinner at a Thai restaurant in Coogee and went straight to the park beside the beach playing some tunes. 

29th March 2015, Sunday

Had church and at night we surprised Sonia for a pre-birthday celebration since her birthday is on the 30th of March. And can't you believe it, March is almost over and the temperature is beginning to drop. 

Vania's bday + Bible Study

Happy birthday to Vania! The surprise was a bit of a hazy failure. It was a meh, she wasn't surprised at all. But at least she was happy.

After the surprise, we went to bible study. We continued on 1 Corinthians. My group finally finalised the name of our group! It was Jesus' Kingsmen. We should come up with a new group photo next!

Kevin's Turning 21

Tuesday, 10th of March

We had a late dinner surprise for Kevin's 21st birthday. I know it was uber late since his birthday was on the 7th but hey everyone got something on the 7th. Sorry there buddy. 

The lady at Albee's kitchen is such a dear, she let us to light up the candles which was great. What is a surprise without candles. Oh and tomorrow was Kenn's birthday too! Turning 20. huh bro. 

Wednesday, 11th of March

I met up with Irene for a super early dinner at Dong Dong (Somewhere in Kingsford) since my stomach was grumbling for food during the 3 hour personal finance lecture. I am sure, the person next time could hear it! This tomato rice with chicken is the bomb, I don't know maybe it is because my hunger level hitting rockbottom or just it is plainly the best tomato rice I have ever had. I should order more of this. 

Ragusa // Surprising Ci Lisda

The moment that I have been planning since the start of the summer holiday. This bucket list has finally been achieved and I must say, I am not a big fan of this ice cream. It is kind of a disappointment in terms of taste but an achievement in able to go there with public transport and finally tasted it after years of curiosity.

We ordered the banana split and the spaghetti ice cream. The spaghetti ice cream was good but the dried fruits just made the whole ice cream tasting experience into a yuck. It produces an unnecessary smelly taste that overpowers the sweetness of the ice cream. The banana split was not any better, I assume they used a non-ripe banana as it was super hard.

The cafe was super packed, moreover there was a shooting going on in this cafe from some national TV.

we found this museum 

We were planning to go to Museum Galeri Indonesia but we walked in the wrong direction and we stopped by this museum just a few buildings away from Ragusa. It was so empty and it was an awkward situation when we were greeted by the 2 persons working there. He was really kind in telling us about the paintings and stuffs though which was cool. You guys should definitely check out this Newseum anytime soon. Even though it is a small place but it is very cozy, despite the fact there were a lot of blood-sucking insects there. 

In the end we didn't go to Museum Galeri Indonesia, we were lost and it was all up to my fault. When we were walking, a few security guards who were guarding the President Palace were kind of racist at us and were shouting gong xi fa cai, ching cang cing whatever, at us. I know that tomorrow is Chinese New year, why should you do that to us.

Sharon's Belated Birthday Surprise

This is the continuation of the previous post. I was kinda late showing up so when I arrived, they have finished baking the cake. LOL. I just took photos of the finished product. It was GORGEOUS! Best decorated cake in the history of baking cakes at Kev's.
