G'day in Sydney

I have arrived in Sydney and yet another full year to tackle! There were a lot of familiar Indos on the plane! It was super cool. I managed to bring the microscope safely.

We emptied our luggages as soon as we arrived in coogee, then headed to Cim's place to put our empty luggages there and went straight to Uni for o-week. The oweek was practically empty, there were less stalls. I didn't get much freebies.

pavilion's chicken noodle salad! legendary!
Later on at lunch there were a Campus Bible Study pizza event, I was too full to even devour a single slice. I just love the feeling of losing my appetite after hours of spending on the plane. This always happen. I hope it would stay.. HAWHAW..

At night, we ate dinner at Sushi Tengoku! The best place to eat sushi in my opinion. The servings are satisfying.

tasty macha ice cream

got this sprinkle cupcake all the way from US from a dear friend of mine called Laura

the cream cheese filling is too good to be true

gawwh cute bday card

Despite the lack of sleep, I managed to go through the whole day without taking an afternoon nap to avoid some jetlag whatsoever. phew.

Chris's Farewell and Sushi

Today we bid our friend, Chris, goodbye as he is catching his flight back to Indonesia for good.

let's tear the ticket down
Afterwards, I spent the whole evening cleaning up Cim's room and then later that night, we ate at Sushi Tengoku. You have no idea how much I love sushi! Blogging about this suddenly makes my stomach grumbles. Grrr.. Sushi.. Why do you have to taste so good.

Freedom! (Candy Sushi)

The test was okay SUPPOSEDLY! The best aspect of the test was that I got to sit down at the first station. I don't know whether I would excel or not. But the most important thing is that I have finished all tests! Especially with God's never-ending grace, I was given great health throughout the exam period. I was not sick nor feeling unwell. Thank God for that.

Anyway, it was raining quite heavily. Such a gloomy weather.

Alvin, Kevin and I made this awesome konapun. I am not sure if I spelled that right. But the three of us made sushi candies. Kevin and Alvin bought it in North Sydney some while ago. And they were kind enough to wait for me to make this awesomely inner-child-cracker. hahaha

these are supposed to be the plates?

with different packets of powders

jellies produced by just dropping water

lol.

Pretty proud of ourselves! YEY good job! Close enough :)

Afterwards, I got bible study that night.

Sushi Tengoku

The last day of holiday! Tomorrow I'll be starting the first week of second semester in my first year of my Medical Science major. I should maximise the end of this fantastic memorable holiday with a sushi buffet at Sushi Tengoku!

The buffet started at 8. It was super exciting. I had never experienced a sushi buffet before. Moreover, it was a while since I ate my last sushi in Sydney.

first dish

the tofu is nice

this is good. calamari i guess?

sushi!

aaaa! the best one of all!

The dinner was extremely great. It was delicious! However, I couldn't enjoy the dinner optimally. I was worried if I would get another strike after my 6th strike and a final warning has been imposed. I was eating the food really fast. I should eat it in a more slow mode to savour all the juicy flavours inside this piece of art. I was Facebook-messaging my RA to help me out defending me to the other RA that I was going to be late and that I could get away with it. She said she could help me and I was a bit relieved.

At 10, we started moving out, and I arrived at the terraces at 20 minutes pass 10. I saw Grace's text that the RA hadn't knocked on her door yet. So, basically I passed the bed check. And no strike for me. I was really grateful for the RA who was trying to help me though.

Aftermath of Mid Semesters

Mid Semester Exams are finally over since last Thursday. Super ecstatic to have also heard about some of my results! It was beyond ordinary! That feeling of passing a test although you have positively think that you might fail  was stupendously amazing!

Today, after BABS lecture, me and Angel went out to Niji Sushi Bar for the sushi train! Super good! AA! This is my reward of accomplishing mid exams! HUAHHAHA..

this is the best one!

The worst thing about eating from the sushi train is that we can take whichever dish we want in how many quantity we like! However, I tried to limit myself against taking a lot of the dishes. It happened once in Jakarta in Sushi Tei in which I was incredibly hungry and I just took a lot of dishes at once. While, this is another story! I actually feel triumphant having to limit my sushi intake. LOL. Pretty proud of myself for that!

Anyway, there was a Sushi Eating Competition coming soon on 13th of May here in this restaurant starting at 7pm. Entry fee costs about 50$ which surprises me, because I thought the entry fee is free. And I always thought that eating competition will be of no charge to those who won the competition. Those who loses the competition will have to pay the fee though. I knew this from reading too much mangas. LOL. Additionally, registration closes on 10th May.

I am still waiting for my SCIF (Perspectives to Medical Science) results. I have no idea how much I would get from this test. It's an essay test. And I have bull-crapped everything I knew from my mind. Sorry for the language. Let me rectify it to a more scientific and less offensive term.. I have basically bull-manured everything I have written on that pieces of paper.

Procrastination always hits me these days. I have about another 5 weeks to prepare myself for finals. Yet I haven't started on anything yet. Not to mention, I have an upcoming debate soon. A group enzyme project next week. I am super confused about how to survive in uni in a lessed stressful manner. Despite the fact that I am so laid back.

Btw, I have enrolled for second semester! I am excited as having Anatomy as one of my courses! Dissection! YEY!

ps: I have used up all my blogger picasa upload pictures limit. It is a good thing of having lots of unused blogger accounts that I have created ages ago. It has finally come to be a good usage! *evil laugh*
