Went out to the city for gift hunting!!! But before that lemme take a selfie with this luscious green tea ice cream. By far, my uttermost favorite ice cream parlour in Sydney would be Chanoma!

Afterwards we went to hunt for gifts for Savitri's bridal shower. We went to every shop that sells cute stuffs but in the end we bought something from UniQlo instead. LOL. I love the uniqlo shop here. It was huge. Not to mention the different arrays of T-shirts available here. It was AH-MAZING.
At about 4 we went to the Salvation Army Building for Stephen Tong's gospel rally. It was about The Dignity, The Fall and The Redemption of Man.
Evangelist Michael Liu first gave his testimony of how he became a Christian. His testimony was very encouraging. Then, Stephen Tong started to preach. We, as humans, were created with dignity. We had the highest rank out of all creations that God has created. God was still higher in rank before us so therefore we ought to worship him. But then the fall happened. The fall means that humans are engulfed by sin due to the fact of wanting to have more power and wanted to reign over God himself. However, with God's mercy and grace, he sent his only son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for us and so our sin can be forgiven and our relationship with God can be mended.
The whole sermon was like a longer version of Two Ways To Live. But it was great that I was reminded about this again.
The whole rally finished at around 8. We were all starving and headed to eat as soon as possible.
It's Sunday! And I went to church ! I totally forgot that there was a holy communion today which was why I attended my usual sunday school class at Korem (Komisi Remaja). Today's sermon was presented by Laushi Stellaria Teguhsukmana. The title was Hidup Menjadi Kesaksian. She was such a good speaker and she brought the sermon in such an interesting way that I could not stop writing down notes. In this sermon, she told that we should restrict out flesh wants (keinginan daging--> internet, comics, novels, other glorious stuffs) to achieve a better life. Hearing this was just like a smack in the face, I had just spent 8 solid hours last night editing this blog of mine!

Anyway, she showed us this mousetrap video. watch it!
So the illustration above was about a mouse being allured to the scrumptious cheese trap and ended up dying with a broom stick. In reference to this illustration, Laushi Stella explained that we were like the mouse getting attracted to the cheese, addicting stuffs like : internet, tv, movies, games; and we did not realize that these addicting yet fun stuffs might actually affect us in a negative way. Like for instance, playing games too long would result in our eyes getting damaged. These are just minor addictions. What if those addictions were like drugs, pornographies, cigarettes, and other dangerous addictions. They might led to even bigger causes like: diseases (cancer, HIV/AIDS), pregnancy and even deaths.

From this we should know that action speaks louder than words! The blonde guy did not utter a single word to the poor frail ginger boy. He painted his blonde hair red to match the bullied boy as a way of defending him from the bullies! This video really was touching! Bullying should be stopped!
Later that afternoon, I also attended a seminar by Reverend Reggy Andreas. Another interesting sermon! About why Jesus is an ideal example for people to follow him. I am going to explain it in brief. So here it goes.
Jesus as the Son of God descends from Heaven down to Earth, being born as a man (as a baby first of course). Over the years, He grew physically, mentally and was loved by the people around him. He had a good relation with God as well as the people. Not to mention that all His years of living was spent in a really good way.He was a really hard worker. By the age of 30, He was crucified.
It was a 2.5 hours seminar and I was not bored at all! The reverend presented his sermon in a funny way!
