Painting nails on the beach

Today's guest was Savitri. I invited her over because we wanted to do the video that we had postponed due to some circumstances. We were planning on making a Disney Lyric Challenge video. I haven't uploaded it yet although I have edited it. But to some extent, I am still not satisfied with the finished product and the video takes 18minutes. It's too long and it gets boring along the way. I wish we could redo it again. We also did a Pop song guessing game. That was fun. It only lasted 5 minutes though because out of nowhere my camera started to stop without anyone prompting it to stop. So it was like an incomplete recording. It didn't even reach the fun part yet. Anyway, we were planning to do another video anytime soon before I go back to Indo.

At around 3:30 I made my move down the beach. I was late for 30minutes. LOL. Sorry peeps. Everyone was there already. The boys went swimming while I started to paint Sonia's nails. Mani-pedi time.

Coogee

A great day to stroll down at the beach! I went to the library first in the morning to meet up with Nicole and then together at around 3:30-4:00ish we started to walk to Coogee Beach which is just 20 minutes away from uni. Despite my motivation of studying in the library I was not that productive and only went through a lecture. I did not even complete going through my biochem lectures. The guilt is trying to engulf me.

Went to buy some sorbets in Woolies but then we realised that we did not have any spoons. A sneaky thought came by and we went to Gelatissimo which was along the woolies for some free samples and went away with the spoons given.

The both of us talked and talked. Not to mention we also read the bible too. It was basically our one-to-one together. My first one-to-one with a medical science classmate.

Charmed Life

I am in awe in how fast the time goes by so quickly. I am nearing week 8 of uni! Uni is going to start soon. And I have something due this Monday which I haven't done yet.

Today was a great day. I woke up really late, catching up sleep that I deprived during camp.

Cim also baked some banana cupcakes early morning.

i baked carrot cupcakes. not the best ones in the world but it was a pretty satisfactory result for a noob like me

It was a tiring day honestly. Shopping for groceries in bondi just worn out my feet. But the excitement of achieving on baking something I craved for since Bourke Street carrot cake was just delightful. Despite the major difference in the taste, but I felt good in baking it. I might have to add that baking was actually pretty fun. It was just following the steps procedure similar to what I usually do during lab sessions in uni. I should find something else to cook next time!
