In relation to the social media active especially during this technology era where everyone is connected with any social media applications and websites available in the world wide web. It is quite rare that there would be someone who would not have at least one social media app in their lives. This is quite impossible because this is another common need in this growing community. Social media can be both be a positive or a negative effector. The question that has been brought forth during discussion was "Is it wrong for us to feel happy when getting 'likes' on social media?". To be honest, I am quite happy when I receive likes on facebook. But then again, when I think about it, that only lasts for a while. It is not that kind of happiness that would last me for days. It's temporary and only has a very short impact time. I am not saying that we should stop being happy whenever getting likes, or even we should stop using any social media there is out there, just so that we could not indulge in the temporary happiness present in this world. I am just saying that there is a greater and far more happier inducer that lasts for eternity and i.e again heaven.
I know you guys might have probably been thinking, why is this girl keep on babbling about something and then shove up the same answer every time there is a condition imposed. Heaven heaven heaven. Well, what's not good about it anyway? Who would not like or refuse entering the best sanctuary there is.
Feminism, a very general topic these days, very enticing for women to be as powerful as men. To be equally heard and also respected. Moreover, being on top of men would be a great honor and respect for most of women out there. Talk about career boss women who successfully climb their way up and be on top of the food chain in the business and competitive world of jobs. But as mentioned in the bible from the book of Genesis, God purposefully created both men and women with different roles and that women have to submit to men as it is right thing to do so. Men must lead. But then again, a questions arises: Do we then submit to men in every aspect of life? Like projects, teams, leading a trip somewhere, jobs? It depends on the cases. If you are one of those long-time workers and there is this new guy intern who is younger than you who works in your department, you, of course, should be the one who teaches the new guy; not the other way around. But during teaching, you should also be aware not to abuse your power over him. Another thing which kinda grinds my gear is that, after the fall (people sinning), God has cursed both men and women with different curses. Men are cursed to work the field and women are cursed with pain in child bearing. It is kind of peculiar that women want to also have men's curses as well in leading. I guess that is part of human sinfulness.
By knowing that we are sinful, it is best to repent and ask God for forgiveness and let believe and surrender everything to his hands. He is the creator and the alpha and omega, the beginning and the last.

I want to share something that really hit me tonight during bible study. We continued reading 1 Thessalonians 2:1-12. In the passage, Paul, Silvanus, Timothy were writing to the Thessalonians about how they have suffered but still willing to live in a manner worthy to God. They were telling the Thessalonians about their lives of how they did not become a burden to the people, they were gentle, and they did not do what was pleasing to men but pleasing to God. Moreover, they were true to their words and set a good example for the people to imitate them. Another important point was about why the passage was written in the first place. It was included to show that Paul cared for the people and they were witnesses so that Paul, Silvanus, Timothy did not seek glory for themselves. Realising how and why we live is very important and this decides how our life should match with what we should say (spreading the gospel to the world). We ought not to be hypocrites. Moreover, we should also remember that we are doing all these to please God and not men. We should be joyful that we are making God happy by stepping out of our comfort zone, as we have reached to the most comfortable space that we will ever get and that is when God is pleased with us. Pleasing God is the key in which we can do everything else in a flowing manner without hesitation, without further dilemmas about what the world has to offer, as we are surely guaranteed of a better reality that is yet to come i.e heaven itself.
Challenge for me is to actually start practising what I believe. I tend to overlook stuffs and to just let it pass and still am a timid little mouse when it comes to speaking out my own point of view to people. I am still "Afraid" of what people would judge me for. Maybe this can be regarded as a side effect of my ultimate fear of people judging from a terrible past of having being the total outcast. I am so thankful though of how I have changed to be the person I am right now. But then again, I have been cooped up and have being too comfortable in the new shell I am in right now. I should break that shell off and start telling about the gospel more. Writing this "sharing" paragraph has been a method for me to pass on the message. But this is just because I am not bold enough in just sharing it in person with people face-to-face. On top of that, I am not the most fluent speaker ever. For some reason, I cannot put my ideas in a nice cohesive sentence. I think I might have been verbally challenged after all. But anyway, I am able to put my ideas into words that people might be able to understand better in a written format. Although this might not seem to be a concise and kind of a rotating piece of post, but still I am able to get the guts to share this.
TO LIVE IS CHRIST, TO DIE IS GAIN
